A lakefront hotel with fine dining restaurant in the Austrian alps was updated and extended. An overall design concept and drafts for the hotel lobby, entrance, lounge, bar and the restaurants were created.
The local context comprising the lake, the alps and the art of enjoying built the starting point for the overall design concept. Colors, textures and materials were chosen that express the presence of the nature around the hotel and enable sensual and inspirational experiences.
The authenticity of the place was incorporated with an elegant and cozy design. The vertical timber cladding that symbolizes the Austrian woods, enhances the perceived ceiling height and showcases an updated clean aesthetic.
